It's rare for me to get called madam because when I was a mum everyone thought I was a child and now I'm a grandmother, people think I'm a first-time mum. I like being treated like a grown-up!

) That's does make sense for the 2nd problem I mentioned, but for this thread, I was the 1st poster - it kind of surprised me no one had posted yet, b/c I thought it was a good topic. But I mentioned it to the author b/c I thought maybe that's why no one had posted- that maybe same had happened to them and so they figure it had been deleted or something. Don't know why it happened that way - maybe b/c the thread hadn't been up very long - but still seems odd. Thanks for the info - I'll know for those other types(which occurred most often anyway & I would have never guessed about going back, etc.)

Good point. I do hope there was no offence taken. I was being my typical smart assed self, looking to pull a smile onto someone's face. I will however take time to think about the English as a second language thing and maybe be a little ore selective when I listen to the voices in my head.
