minnieme2: I don't like lilies. They smell too strong and they have a nasty habit of dropping stuff on your clothes which is a divil to wash out! I tend to associate them with funerals anyway.
Ccincy: Alex yes I'm very serious.Thank you for the virtual bouquet.Real flowers are way too costly and obviously don't last as long.
Fake ones when they get dust on them you rinse them off they're fine.
oic I do understand .yes . But when a man offers you ,even a single rose the meaning of that flower its billion time more then a whole house decorated with fake flowers.

that is just my simple opinion, as a man
A guys actions has a lot more meaning to me than a real rose.
Alexandro10: I do apologise CCincy, and I hope you don't get this in a bad way, but to me a fake flower can't replace a real flower, whatever action that could be.
Kind of depends on how they are cut and then looked after, if still planted in a pot they may last years, if cut and placed in water with sugar or similar they can last maybe two weeks, time enough to then be replaced.

Ohhh myyyy , working with flowers , its one of the hardest jobs in this world. I know its sounds silly, but I tell you that much. I did a 12 hours shift 7/7 for six years. And that's not taking in count to wake up twice a week and be at most biggest market in Europe at 5 o'clock in the morning.

Fried Dandelions would be my flower of choice, Pick the yellow heads, Dip them in Egg and milk, Roll them in flour or Bread crumbs, Add some seasonings of your choice, Fry in butter or Olive Oil until Browned, and you will have a Feast eating them!

Roses and tulips are the nicest I think.
