One day, records will be found as to what the ancient Sumerians and and possibly those from present day India called the ocean we now call the Pacific. The ‘Sea of Atlas’, Atlantic only goes back to around 450BC so we have no known records yet of what the first civilizations called either the Atlantic or Pacific. The Mediterranean Sea from the ancient Greek ‘Mesogelos’ meaning Middle Sea, is not what the more ancient Mycenaeans called it as so far no records have been found, same for their name of the Atlantic which as is now know, crossed many times to the Gulf of Mexico and up the Mississippi into the Great Lakes area for copper. As all the ancient world knew that Earth was a globe, the only name that survives is from Sumeria, was KI/ Kia. The translations of tablets and the digging or more tablets continue. Uni.of Penn State has already published their first Sumerian dictionary of only A to B…Hard work.

So.. we don't have any indications, what the Atlantic, was named before 450BC???Even if we have,it wouldn't change its name.- Would always called Atlantic.
