postneoludite: I saw the movie on TV. When she started to sing, I got right up close to the TV to look for signs of wires, gears, lip synching. I could not believe a human could make such a sound.
minnieme2: Cool! Sounds intriguing! Has it subtitles? I'd still watch it though. Just annoying when some of the words are same colour as the scene. But hey there are no translations in Opera and no words at all in Ballet and people generally get the gist of the story. :)
I believe 'Aimée & Jaguar' is available with English voice-over or German with English subtitles. The intense love affair among the two women during the war gives one of them, a Jew working with the underground resistence, more hope that she will remain undetected and survive the war. This film is a brilliant engrossing piece of work imo.
