minnieme2: The ones I picked are all Irish born by the way. Other greats of second and further generations imo are Peter O'Toole, Barry Fitzgerald, Tyrone Power, to name a few.
A tough one Minnie , they're all damned good except one , never thought that much of Rhys Meyers .

He got a mention in the posts blank. I thought of him after the list! lol! His sons are doing ok now in acting, especially Donal. The three of them were on the Late Late Show tonight (Irish TV)

Can't fit them all in! He wouldn't be as internationally well known as the others. He was a good actor though.
