I despair for America. The main stream media have done a job on the public. Anyone who says they wouldn't/didn't vote for Mr Sanders needs their head examined.

Similar thing on the British left. We have Blairites(Hillary)and we have Corbyn(Sanders)tearing apart the British Labour party. There's a class conscious worker left and a politically correct bourgeois left, the two groups speak a completely different language to one other, and they're heading for a showdown.

The core vote from Sanders or Corbyn overlaps with the vote for Trump or UKIP. This would never happen on the bourgeois/regressive left as the well-to-do left wouldn't dream of voting Trump. The late 20th century shift from the genuine left to the regressive left is perfectly exemplified in the fact that we have gay rights and quite severe repression of free speech, but one income is no longer enough for a working class parent to support a family.

Marx was politically incorrect and "from each according to their ability" implies that inequality exists. Marx also wouldn't support free movement in a global capitalist system as it exploits workers... In Britain now the best thing would be for everyone who voted out of the EU with reservations to ally with the eurosceptic europhiles who voted remain.Remainians with the heart to know why the country voted for Brexit should ally with Brexiteers with the head which knew how risky doing so was and gave this their full consideration.

Long story short there are stalinist purges and censorships going on in politics.
