This corner of the Pacific Northwest is quite similar to the Carmel/Santa Cruz areas of California. (A few people I know from there say it is exactly the same) We have a chilly but very short "Winter", and the rest of the year is like mid-Spring. Summer is relatively mild-warm, with a few hot days in July, usually. Today it is raining on and off--a standard for early-mid Spring. "Pockets" of neighborhoods and surrounding towns get very warm, like Arizona, etc... Coos Bay is just nearly perfect for me!
