I don't understand why religious institutions are exempt from tax. I don't think they should be, and I certainly don't think they should be given money by the state.
Absolutely not...I'd rather burn it than see my taxes go to the church and keep those self indulgent, lardy arsed, lazy, condescending, w*ankers fed... Lot of them should be tied up, thrown in a ditch and set on fire if you ask me...

Yes, that's similar to what I would have said, had I been in a different mood.
Circlip: I don't understand why religious institutions are exempt from tax. I don't think they should be, and I certainly don't think they should be given money by the state.
I believe it should be about accountability, like everything else. (Churches get write-offs —not for being a church, but for charitable contributions.: Food banks, housing support/ vouchers, discretionary funds for hospital, related travel, etc…)
