bestat45: i would personally tell someone who said that to me to stuff their dinner up their fat --- , but, of course no-one would say that to begin with, so no worries
sxc666: No way knifes are to dangerous Indy. I wouldn't go out to kill someone for not helping me with dinner.Maybe throw a glass at the wall, and hurle a few plates around the kitchen, but knives no way.
If you want a man to help you in the kitchen with cooking a meal you have to employ a little psychology. For example, call him and say honey, this potatoe peeler is not good we should get one of those electric ones. He'll come in the kitchen and show you how well the potato peeler works. Then you call him and say, honey this masher wont mash the potatoes they are all lumpy, I bet you could mash these lumps with your strong arms. Before you know it he'll be serving you dinner and pouring you a glass of wine. Later you can con him into washing the dishes.

Seems to me everyone is assuming that they would want to eat what was being cooked by him. Whats wrong with Lets go out to eat tonight. Then everyone get a treat...
