Mine might be a combination of wrong place and wrong time. I no longer "fit" with most men in my area, and I can't relocate for the right one until my sons are grown...nor afford right now to travel to find out. So, I hear you, Thumper.

If I had to be honest, I think in person, I am reserved and shy and it takes me awhile for me to feel comfortable around someone I'm attracted to. Sometimes that's an obstacle for me to keep her around long enough to know me.
Online I can relax a little more and be myself, although I really am not that shy as I used to be now.

I hope that some day you find someone with whom it's not a drama, then. Someone who makes you feel like the two of you are a pair of comfortable old shoes. Honestly, that's what I'd like to find again.
