Attention seekers wanting others to BEG them to stay.....Ever notice most come back after starting their pathetic "I Am Leaving, Please Beg Me to Stay" threads? Odd how they never start an "I Lied and I am a Hypocrite" thread once they return.

I would suppose each of us is in some way seeking attention on this site. Why else would we be here? Even just to post to the threads? Don't we want some view put across that we hold? Is that not seeking attention?

I don't start threads or post to seek attention. I post to give my opinion, no more no less. That is why it is called a forum. Do some do so to see their name in lights? Most certainly. Those are the minority.

I agree Sweet, but not when it comes to leaving the Site, unless you have found your better half for instance and want to anounce it, otherwise, I find, Threads and Polls, a form to Debate daily subjects, or asking for opinions on your daily life.

Not at all. Posting is someone expressing their opinion about a certain subject matter which has been presented. Hence the term forum. A gathering place for people to discuss their ideas, opinions, and beliefs. If it was for attention seeking it would be more of the concept of a bulletin board without the option to respond. I do, however, those that start thread after thread after thread in one day just to see their name in lights are seeking attention. Again, the minority.

Well, if I ever left, which I did a year ago, I would send private e mails to the friends I have made, but not make a Thread or Poll of it, to each his own, I don´t Critisize or give my opinions openly if someone wants to go, I may e mail them, but never Post.
