I have really loved, only a few that really touched me with a connection. The puppy love also hit me hard in school.

love74: Have you ever love someone so much, you can't do without him or her,if the person is not there, you feel as if you are sick,if the person is there, you hardly get hungry, you can't sleep without the person beside you,it seems as if without the person, life is wortless, the things you can't imagine yourself doing, you will do it for that person, you are ready to go extra mile just to put a smile on the face of that person?
I have, but we were young and a lot happened between both perants(his and mine)at the end we were seprated to diffrent countries and till this date,i have never seen him again. So guys, have you ever really loved someone?Lets go back to those memorable days and remenber how it use to be.

I used to get stuck on boys that way when I was a teen ager. Then, I figured out that it was all wrong and I did it because my home life was sort of emotionally barren. I needed someone to care about be and latched on to boyfriends like a drowning lady latching on to a life saver. The relationships were really just BS and what I needed to do was to not let my happiness depend on another person. So, I hope you're not falling into the same trap. You just need to find a way to be happy that doesn't hinge on someone else being there. Because, no matter what they say, they might not always be there and might not always make you happy.

Yes I have been in love and it was with my husband for 32 years until God thought it was time for him to go. As I tell everyone he was my friend, best lover, father and husband. We went through 5 years of him being sick, but I would go through it again if I had him here with me right now.

Lagoona22: Yes, many times...I used to take love for granted, assumed it was the way things worked, until I met a mature woman in Turkey, who told me she had never known what it felt like to be in love. I was surprised and shocked by her statement, and have thought about it many times since then. Now that I am older, I know that falling in love is a great gift that we shouldn't take for granted. It becomes rarer as we age, I think...

I was totally besotted and in love with my ex wife, the phrase "I would die for you" was oh so true in her case, but after 7 years she and I went separate ways, my heart was in pieces, fortunately I have the knowledge that you can find love again and that when it clicks it really clicks. I will just go on looking laugh

Apart from my children I don't really think I have.

Ive never had my heart broken by a man. Does that mean Ive never truly been in Love?

Ive missed people Ive lost contact with but never been broken hearted. I kinda hope it happens one day.

I'm sure it will, sometimes it just takes a bit longer than we would really want, but then the best wine is that which has lain untouched for some years, when opened it gives more joy and happiness than mere words can describe.comfort

No you dont want to have your Heart Broken, or Love someone who isnt Loving back, it feels very Cold,,

What you want to experience is a Wonderful Love that Lasts, and where , YOU DONT go away with a Broken heart, You Need To Cherish that Love, and Both must do so, NOT JUST ONE, then You will have Found True Happiness, and God is usually in the middle of true Loveheart wings teddybear hug

YOUR AGErolling on the floor laughing, you are still a child compared to the likes of old sods like me and the Maltese pair rolling on the floor laughing

Did you know that the best Cars are those that have at least 45 k on the clock, all the things that go wrong have been fixed, the seats are worn in and now fit like a glove, the gearbox is smooth and slides easily from gear to gear, and, if there is the odd bump here and there, well that just adds character

So well said, Lago. We take love for granted when we're young, and don't know how to value the gift we've been given. We learn its value as we get older. I treasured my last true love until the day he died, and still feel blessed to have learned the lessons that allowed me to do that rather than take it for granted, since we had so little time together after all.

I've been blessed. I've had more true loves in my life than most ever get, and I know now that if I'm blessed enough to have it again, I will treasure it again...and even more since I've learned how fleeting life and time with those we love can be. But if I'm not blessed with it again, I know that I have truly been loved more than a lot of people are ever loved in their lives, and will still be happy. wine
