I am a person who enjoys the moment I am living now. I think fondly of the past, but spend my time on today and tomorrow. I lived through all of the decades you have listed. They all were good and bad! I date, married, went to war, learn and listened to great songs, lost my wife and many family members during those years. So some decades are better than others. Today is fantastic.

music of the 60's and 70's rock, please look into and expand beyond what the radio plays, for instance" if you are an eric clapton fan(as i am) then you owe it to yourself to checkout, rory gallagher--lonnie mack--roy buchanan, the list could go on and get deeper, i get so tired of conversations revolving around led zep-stones-beatles-floyd-jimi-eric ect ect. there was so much more going on at the same time as those greats and are well worth searching for, make no mistake i love those artists,BUT i also love the lesser known of the same era.

i'm just talkin bout music, maybe i missunderstood the thread, music,books, art, i wouldnt go back personally the 70's almost killed me, the 80's were harsh, but for music its the 60's--70's although i do like some newer stuff you're unlikely to hear on the radio, thats the jist of my post.------ This poll is Archived ------

Mine was the 70s.I grauated school in 74 and started to get out more and experience different things to do.I went to a lor of concerts,baseball games and danceing.

My best times were in New York as a teenager in the 70s. Spent too much time working and very little partying in Dallas in the 80s. Traveled alot in the 90s. Settled down and beginning to have fun again in St Petersburg in the 10's. I'm glad to live through the turn of the New Millenium which happens once every thousand years.
