I was reading the label on the carton of my bulb-replacing fluorescent light (ice cream cone style) and it said that 23 watts of power are used to create the same amount of light as a 100 watt incandescent bulb.
Sounds like the best of both worlds to me!

I've got a bunch of them in place. In reality, you almost need a stronger "ice cream bulb" than what the box states...as they don't emit as much light. If you're wanting 60 traditional watts, you'd probably need a 75 "ice cream" bulb. (just trying to help)
