HAPPY_2009: WHAT IS BETTER...TO BE IN LOVED AND LOST,OR NEVER BE IN LOVED?HOW WE CAN RECOGNIZED THE TRUE FEELING?
The answer to this question depends on how broken-hearted you've been I guess lol. But IMO no experience of love however painful, is ever worth wishing away. To never to have loved - to not have felt that joy...well, I'd be very sorry if I had never felt that.
The film, Eternal Sunshine of The Spotless Mind, examines this very issue - if you are in such incredible pain from a broken heart that you could pay to have every memory of them permanently erased from your mind, would you? Is no feeling of love at all better than feelings of heart-break? Worth checking out if you haven't seen it.
navygirl1: I am sorry to hear that. If it makes you feel better I was out shoveling snow for three hours in -25 weather. I can get where you are coming from. I have been Calgary for 12 years and have only had 4 dates; three were absolute creeps. I haven't had much luck in meeting anyone on connecting singles either but we both have to keep trying. I stated on another site if you give up your dreams you die. So, keep the dream alive dear.
I haven't had much luck locally on CS, but I've made some wonderful friends overseas. That's worth the price of admission alone.
kidatheart: I guess it depends on how bad you want to move. I'm selling my house here and moving to BC right away, and already have a place there. It's raining there at the moment, but still on the plus side.
I've already had enough of this winter crap for this year, or a lifetime actually.
Where in BC are you moving? I was thinking the Island. I just need to get my life in order before I make a major move.
