Not clear when exactly to answer yes or no as it's a double question so I answered not sure but I've loved and lost and am glad for the experience eventhough it hurts.
Michael211_2000: Thanks ya'll... I've had a really rough day today. - Michael
I am sorry to hear that. If it makes you feel better I was out shoveling snow for three hours in -25 weather. I can get where you are coming from. I have been Calgary for 12 years and have only had 4 dates; three were absolute creeps. I haven't had much luck in meeting anyone on connecting singles either but we both have to keep trying. I stated on another site if you give up your dreams you die. So, keep the dream alive dear.

Snow is sooo pretty though... we had some flurries down here around the Houston area Dec. 4th. At times it seemed like a blizzard, but by sunset it quit and all melted away overnight. Everybody was sooo excited to see snow here though, it's a very rare treat for us.
My lawn mower actually has an option for a front mounted snow blower and I've seen a few of the blowers designed for it for sale on Ebay and I sooo wanted one for it... but why? LOL!
3 kids, teenagers, decided to go out in the woods right behind my house and "play" with their guns today around noon... bullets were hitting my house, I grabbed a rifle of mine and the cell phone and ran onto the front porch and called the sheriff's department requesting they send a deputy out here immediately as somebody was shooting guns in my backyard and bullets were hitting the roof of my house... it took nearly 2 hours to get a deputy out here while over 100 rounds of ammo were fired off in every direction by these 3 idiots! It was like Bam Bam Bam Bam Bam in rapid succession at times!
Once a deputy finally showed up (they'd finally ran out of ammo I guess about 20 minutes before the deputy arrived) he went house to house till he found them and they admitted to having been playing with their guns out in the woods behind my house. 15 and 16 year olds! I was at one point within an inch of returning fire... yeah it was that bad and that dangerous with their shots going every direction at random! The kicker is the deputy came back and told me that they had not actually broken any laws but that he would be calling their parents to tell them how close their kids got to being killed today! Talk about insane I swear... I ache all over from the tension tonight.
So yeah I've had a rough day.
What kind of idiots let their children go out and play with guns with no supervision whatsoever? Why on earth did it take over an hour to get a deputy out here, during which time over 100 shots were fired off? I called their dispatch like 4 times pleading for a deputy telling them I was now armed and prepared to return fire if bullets came into my yard again... it was nuts I swear!

The people where I live are idiots. Idiots!

How awful. I am sorry to hear that. Makes you wonder what kind of parents they have if the kids are running around with guns.
I like snow too as long as its on the mountains far away from me. Its very back breaking work shoveling and I can't find a snow blower in this city. They sell out the same day they come in. Can you send me one? LOL Right now this whole city is rather cranky. Between the constant snow, extreme cold temps, and gridlock traffic, we are not happy campers. I am trying to keep positive by counting down the days until Spring. Just wish I had someone to snuggle up to during the winter months but at least I have a fireplace and a bottle of win.
HAPPY_2009: ITS TIME TO MOVE MICHAEL....PERHAPS ITS A SIGN AND WHO KNOWS,MAYBE YOU WILL FIND THE LOVE OF YOUR LIFE AT NEW PLACE.GOOD LUCK
I know, bad economy though... makes me nervous about going into debt on a new place, and makes it pretty much impossible to sell my existing place. I kinda feel trapped here.
My house is nice: brick fireplace in the living room, hottub on the backporch, 3 acres of land with a pine tree grove some large live oaks and a sizeable pond running across the property... it's those properties around mine that have become the problem. The nerighborhood has gotten really bad with idiots on top of idiots out here now! Packs of dogs have formed... almost nobody bothers to contain or control their pets (no leash laws here either, and I seriously doubt anybody here has their animals vaccinated but me). It's very frustrating.
What would be awesome would be to lease my place out to somebody who'd like to farm pigs!!! Oh how that would tickle me to death!

Yes, I am in the same boat as you. Because of the economy, my house not only wouldn't sell for a good price, but may not sell at all as so many are up so sale right now. I would love to move out of Calgary and go to BC so I can get away from this damn snow and meet some liberal minded men.

I guess it depends on how bad you want to move. I'm selling my house here and moving to BC right away, and already have a place there. It's raining there at the moment, but still on the plus side.
I've already had enough of this winter crap for this year, or a lifetime actually.

One winter in northern Alberta and you'd know what I mean. When it gets to -50 celsius and the wind is howling, there's no laughing, your face would crack.

I've loved and lost many times. I think it's a part of life...well...maybe not, it's a question of finding the right person with mutual feelings...so far it's been one-sided.
