Bring back good old snail mail I say. When our letters were handwritten, we put more thought into what we were writing, and even when it was sealed and stamped, with a SWALK on the back, we still had time to change our minds before we popped it into the letterbox.
Phoenix: I'm doing a snail mail at the minute... Just wiser............
Talk about humble pie........
Are you really writing a letter with pen and paper?.
I haven´t for years now, but I do miss it, particularly receiving letters with lovely handwriting.
The last letter I received was from a young Chinese girl I taught in Oxford during the summer. She had my email address, but wanted to enclose a photo of both of us and a sweet, little keyring. I was chuffed to open and read this letter all the way from China!

Maybe he's typed it and will enclose it in an cyber envelope to post through the F-Drive!

A real hand written job? Yep....

Tulefel: I think there is some remedy when you are regretting the contents of the letter –
Only because I can explain myself better on paper.
Tulefel: then you send another mail after and explain that you were under influence of… anger/hunger or alcohol/nicotine or whatever… in short, you say that you just followed an insane impulse and now you’ve regretted that. I believe if you are honest then you’ll be forgiven.
Last point first..I didn't do anything wrong..neither did the the other person...So there's nothing to forgive
I never said I sent a mail saying sorry, it was too much Sarko's or hemp....I read too much into something and on that charge 'guilty as charged'...but ther person who recieved the 'mail-IM'..is inocent. Hence me eating 'Humble pie'....
Tulefel: But when you regret only the choice of words, not the meaning of the letter, then there’s nothing to do with the thing…But good luck, of course!
I regret sending the mail thingy but the reason behind me writing two letters at the same time is, so the one I send, doesn't have load's of swiggley line's on it...(under scored words)..Trust me the meaning is the same........

I haven’t understood even the half of what your thread is about – as usual – but I wish you to sort out the matter with letters in the best possible way
Phoenix: No. This is a real hand written job..And I'm sending it Special D..If she does a truck driver (Return to Sender)...Then I'll put it in her hands..
Best of luck. It sounds to be a very important letter, with much hingeing on it.
because, first , the cant see you, second, if you regret, you will never know what a..h.... are on this web, so just cancel and muove on, you will keep regretting many more times, but at least you passt time, and cancel
In response to: Have you ever sent an e-mail..IM and regretted it as soon as you sent it ?
Sure, and it took me some time to learn to REALLY think at least twice before doing that. Especially in this virtual world, there can be so many miscommunications which you might interpret differently from what was intended. I'm quite successfully learning not to draw any conclusions in haste and just wait and see what happens instead.
I've also learned not to say what I don't mean, that's a really helpful thing too.
