Alexei23: How do you guys, find it if you're moving to a new city or new country where ya know no one, for the likes of work now and not a lover
I did it when I was 22 - moved to Cork for 6 months and ended up staying there 4 years. I didnt know anyone when I went there. It was tough but I was working long hours and the gang I was working with were great they looked after me.

Come to Ireland and you can have snow sun hail and rain all in one day
Its not all plain sailing, and yes, of course I get homesick, but - lets face it - the world is pretty small these days and it would take me less time to get back to Ireland for a holiday than it would to get to Pennsylvania - the NEXT STATE!
My life is full here, much fuller than before, I dont regret it. If anything went wrong here, Ireland is only a couple of flights away, so I dont really see the problem. Dificult to go back just for a quick weekend, though, tis true!
Richie_rich: Just been thinking about this, as a traveller, would you? People get so tired down in there lives and dont travel anywhere. Good and bad to this poll... Ur thoughts...
As I make friends easily, I would go, of course, but only to countries where people talk English. I like to talk not only body language And only after I would be sure relationship is very serious. I think these days it is not so difficult to stay in touch with family and friends (my kids would go with me everywhere I go, of course). I have sister and many friends living in various countries and I can talk to them for free every day (Nobel prize for Skype creator ).

I would so long as I knew they were equally committed to wanting to be in a partnership for all the right reasons. Moving to other countries though isnt that easy and less so as we get older due to costs, work etc which is sad especially when you do connect with someone and they you from another far away shore.. And I know I would as I have done so in the past..

i have travelled a lot and lived in another culture, and am not afraid to uproot, a place is a place. there is always the chance that someone will come along from far away and then the question will be...where could you both live that would make you both happy. having a happy home to share could be anywhere once you have found the right person.
