Agreed, KWS and Laing are under rated for sure. Colin James is a fine player too, unfortunately he went a little too commercial but very talented. SRV introduced him on Austin City Limits as the next man to watch out for, not sure if he lived up to that acclaim, but he's done some nice stuff in the past.

saw an interview with zakk wilde where he talks about what a huge influence Frank Marino had on him. alot of people have covered Albert Kings' born under a bad sign' one of my favorite versions is Pat Travers' another under rated guitarist in the blue-rock genre.in the mean time - for ur consideration

Yeah nice song that one. The album version is quite rocky too and worth checking out. He also does a nice version of into the mystic. Thanks hun.
Forgot to say thatI managed to see him live in a small venue just like the video when I lived in Canada. great show.

havent thought about travers in ages....thanks!!!it's eric clapton 's born under a bad sing that I remember best tho but I love how they all borrow from each other - it's great -thnx - I gotta get some sleep tho
