Recycle it.....it has some things in it that shouldn't go to the dump

Schools here also will take old computers. I am not sure if all schools will. But many do. That is an excellent thing to do. Children will grow and be the care takers of the world one day. We want them to have every skill they will need to learn

Yes, you're better off donating it to someone - if they're gonna use it. Upgrading isn't typically worth the money.
But just don't take it to a land fill .....

that's we done here in liège.some schools needed computers but that windows crap isn't a good tool for learning,so we asked all factories and offices to take their old computers and recycles them by installing some free softs oriented for education ;)
