What bread do you eat/buy? (51)
I don´t eat bread anymore, in fact it hasn´t passed my lips for over 6 months. I exist on a very low carb eating plan and it works extremely well for me. I´m healthier than I´ve ever been.

Me neither. I don't eat bread all and haven't had bread in about 10 years. I am a vegan now, before I was just vegetarian on a low carb diet.

its so easy.....i bought a bread maker 6 months ago..plus book....the smell....owwwwwwwww.i found that most white bread...even in the fridge...go,s mouldy....its the water sprayin the factory to cool it down .doe,s that....fact.------ This poll is Archived ------

I don´t have the willpower to give up meat and fish, but the carbs in bread, rice, pasta and potatoes are bad, and as my mum had been diagnosed with diabetes type 2 in her late forties, I decided to look into diet more thoroughly as I didn´t want to end up the same.
Carbs have a detrimental effect on the insulin we produce. My annual blood tests are very good so I´m convinced I´m doing the right thing by eliminating certain food from my diet.

It´s not only about gaining weight though is it. More so what´s going on inside the body.

Chocobloc: Look at the ingredient list rather than the colour of the bread while buying them. Choose bread that contains more fibre, low G.I rating
I like all kinds of bread as long as its soft. Today I made cinnamon biscuits. They came out good. Even my mom liked them. She always thinks my baking is "mushy." I always think her baking is as hard as a rock.
