none of the above....I am single have been for a while...having the time of my life....made some new girlfriends....we go out dancing, drinking, theatre.....if I ate KFC or Ice Cream everyday I wwould become so overwight that I will be single all my life!!! Girls get out and have some fun....cheering

hollyberries: All I can say , is that a new man in your life helps you get over the one you lost. Always you meet men when you least expect it.I answered a babysitting ad in the news paper. I took the summer off and my son was 12 and his son was 12. Turned out we were in the same grade in high school. We were together ever since he passed away from cancer. What magazines say : walk a dog in a park and in turn you might meet a guy with his own dog. While grocery shopping look ia a guys basket and see that he is buying little and is not married, cooking only for himself.Go out even if you don't like a guy , you might like one if his friends.My son and his friend while in collge use to crash weddings. They would get all dressed up an put an empty envelope in the gift box. To my surprise , I scolded him . His buddy did meet someone . They would always tell people I'm a cousin of the brides brother's friend or somthing like that.Once they were standing near th bar and the groom passed them , turned around and said hey guys I'm going to throw the garter now. He had no clue. Good luck and I hope you find someone. Holly

I do lots......go to the movies, I have three children to keep me busy but when they are off to their dad I do get lonely at times. I work alot, I am always traveling, I cook when I am bored, try new recipes. Take myself out to dinner at least once a month.
I joined cs because of lonliness and bored ..........have no regrets. Good distraction for me.

Learn to enjoy your own company .......dunno

I think you need to learn how to occupy yourself. You need a relationship alright, with you! take time to heal and spend time with yourself. Get to know yourself better, become your own best company. Then when you dont "need" a man, you will be ready for a relationship. wine
