I do not understand what you are asking. Does destiny decide our fate? And ones destiny is decided before we are born or conceived?
And then the media influences us? Do we spend too much time consumed by the media? Are these the questions you have?
I believe we are born with a distinct personality which could be influenced by outside forces. One could say that destiny or set personality has decided possible outcomes to ones life. Ying and Yang.
