Depends on the crime. It would not be my first choice for a partner. A person pays for his/her crime in prison, plus they still pay for it when he gets out.Its hard for them to get a job, when people find out their past, they tend to shy away from them.It would be a hard life,to try to start over and go straight.
I personality think they let some prisoners out to early, they get out early for good behavior....To me a life sentence should be a life sentence, not just a few years then out to do the same thing over again. So i guess my answer is yes,it could be a deal breaker. My opinion only,i am sure you have yours.

GingerBe: What a completely nonsensical and untrue statement.
well from where i'm from the police cause alot of problems, and besides they work to protect a corrupt system that is governed by money... no offense to you directly because i don't know you

Police everywhere are not the same. They are a group like any other, made up of individuals who, in this case, here in Ireland, serve the public, unless you are on the wrong side of the law.
I can understand that in some countries the police may be corrupt and to be feared, but that has never been my experience here.
I am sorry if your experience was different, but you can't just generalise and lump all police together.

See you'd say serve the public, i'd say control the public
