Nationwide.....it went from 9.6 to 9.8%. Here in Florida it is a average of 12.0%
Though earlier this week they said that new applications for unemployment was down. What goes on?
Winter time holiday employment is my thinking. Store will hold their employees till the return rush is over with. Then release them.
But with 1 in 10 unemployeed....this does not bode well for the Obama Administration.
The newly oathed Florida Governor and the Mayor of Orange county both made big pitches in their swearing addresses to make jobs for Floridians.
So ...if the FEDERAl Gov't does not get employment decreasing...the states and local gov't will make the attempt.
Also the new REP Congress is going after the unemployment issue as well.
So now if it does turn around....everyone in Gov't will take credit for the employment gains.......on the other hand if it does not turn around.....no one in Gov't wants to be standing near the Labor statistics media sectretary....the months prior to the 2012 election.
