Conrad73: Even the farmed ones!
Absolutely, as many as I can eat.
On the Blackbird thread a guy put up a news flash about how they were roosting and firecrackers went off, which startled them on mass. And whilst in flight they all knocked into each other, clean out of the sky. According to his posts scientists came up with this. Yes the truth is out there.

another Hypothesis is,they flew until they couldn't fly no more, since they were unable to see the Horizon or anything in the Dark!

mahdie: fortell ...
That would depend if the world continues to rely on the dollar for tade purposes, the long-term prospects of which are dubious at the least. As for the moment America is simply too large to allow it to fail, so money will continue to be thrown at the problem regardless of the not yet perceived consequences of doing so.
We must get back to the USA Constitution that has always worked and will again. I see too many people in the US Government that have turned away from the Constitution because they think that the words are over 100 years old!
What the heck is this?
Some people can't even date the founding of the US Constitution.
They say that they can't understand the words. If they cannot understand those words, then how do they understand the Bible?

Got news for you - only drug dealers and people who're bribing people use cash in large denomination US dollar bills. The rest of the world uses electronic transactions that don't ever change actual currency but rather use various currencies as ways of gauging price and such. Very rarely would you ever see a guy walk into an exchange with a truck full of money and buy a block of stock or, a boatload of oil. Hence, USD or Japanese Yen - who cares?

Like Ireland, Iceland, Greece, Italy etc. All too big to fail.

You are absolutely right, john! I would almost bet that not only do most Americans not know what the US Constitution states, but neither do our Representatives!
The Constitution makes itself perfectly clear in its meaning. It is very easily understood. Those in the Courts who are giving it new definition, are purposly making the changes, by re-writing it, and passing laws to make the Constitution no longer valid.
Thanks for the Barney Fife video. It's really not so laughable, but more sad, as there are so many Barneys in this country!
It will take a long time to recover from the state it is in. This is the land of the free, we seem to be losing our freedom more and more with ever passing year because of new laws.so many people from other country's come here looking to get rich, its not easy here any more to find work. Its getting so their are no jobs here due to that fact, plus so many business have moved over seas, because its cheaper to make their product their. We are going to have to learn new skills, new ways to earn a living due to the changing times. In the mean time the rich seem to get richer, the poor get poorer.
patmac: America is a great country. The American folk are indeed a kind and generous nation, but folk with your attitude mate are the reason why some folk dislike America. That attitude is not what a civilised country or people display to the world and expect to be liked.
And as your fellow American said Vietnam I could add Korea, Cuba and Afghanistan where WE the coalition are having a hard time against the local lads....A guerilla type war WE can never really win, Just a thought I AGREE with most American folk but ....
If I agreed with you we'd both be wrong. As always JMO
absolutely agree with the above
i just threw up vietnam, because is still so very painful for many

these picture by Yves Marchand and Romain Meffre break my heart...especially the one of the library with books still on the shelves
emmaline: it worries me, that vietnam is still recent history, and yet there is not a clue on how it panned out by some
one way to prevent war, is to be informed on previous ones
Yes..... and not to be the one who beginns...... But be the one who defend their rights - to be independant... Only the last have the people in a nation beind a war....
The world war II wasn't won because of Mutilated Bombed Cities.... That only terrified the citicents..... made them starve ..... and made them stick together.......
But because of the one who in the end had the largest Ground forces, and material ... who won victories little by little...
Yep it can be viewed as sad but I like to look on the positive bits.
The Marsh Arabs (persecuted under Saddam) have returned to their way of life and are happy in their way of life in the Deltas of the Iraqi coast and back to normal for them...Not reported by the media often. And the folk who fled Vietnam are doing well now. In addition Vietnam is now for Europeans becoming a trading partner and holiday destination so all is not bad
Godsgift: I think you'd better look a bit further back than Obama! America was bought and paid for long before his election!
yea, you're right there...but obama sure is helping it right along...n.a.f.t.a. is what crippled this country...and it was bush sr. that started pushing for that...don't get me wrong, i can't stand either side these days...
