I agree, as for the tatt issue, people spend alot of money on a tatt .... they dont come cheap. Sadly some people need to give the canvas a little bit more attention than they do..

And some look like 3d images and are quite spectacular while others are just a busy mix of colour with no white space to highlight the main image they're trying to portray

normalguy68: Describe what a well done tattoo looks like as I'm yet to see one. Maybe I lead a sheltered life and don't hang around the venues where you'd find tattoos and rings an things.
I'm not sure what you're getting at but I don't hang around the type of 'venues' either you might be talking about. I'm also very sheltered. However I see tattoo'd men everywhere in public, like the supermarket etc. And if you're not a fan of tattoos then well done or not if you don't like them then you won't be able to tell the difference. But despite your preference, tattooing is art. Artists using a human canvas. And just like any art anywhere else there is bad art and there is good art. And a good artist will produce a good tattoo.

I have 2 tatts, and the odd gold ring in unusual places. I go to church on Sundays .... you could try hanging with that sort of troublesome riff raff you're sure to see some there. Our church treasurer is in her late 50's she has the cutest little rose on her ankle
We all know Normal that you'd never see a tattoo'd person set foot in your book store!!!! Is there somesort of security system - bells and sirens go off as they attempt to walk through the door and a big security wall comes flying up?
