I never did the tally but I always used to go to the count in Dublin South West (Tallaght). I loved it.

last few were in clonard hall behind church???i used to tally local areas i knew... then tally quick/make early guess and set the rumour afoot...
one before last... did a quick tally of howlins(lab) versus twomey(ind. at time) for 100 votes from box in screen(ff heartland)... saw all twomeys1st`s and howlins 2nd`s to twomey and set rumour that twomet to be elected and 2 ff`s fight for one seat.... was real smug when it came in...was fun!!

I'm hearing different, that so many people are pissed and going to vote. If the turnout is less that 75% then we deserve everything coming to us.... As for spoilt votes, they do register your annoyance with the system and situation....
