Some people were Created by a Creator.
And some people are by-products of an amoeba ... a basic life-form that began as a piece of Algae.
And some prefer to believe they are descended from apes and tree living...... but had to come down and live in the grasslands when the Created ones began chopping down their trees to build houses.
The Amoebas are usually still bound into their Reptilian lives, taking up residence in the homes of the Created and Amoebas but may advance further in the next few thousand years......
Whatever happened back then,it points to a Common Ancestor! But most likely, like always, there is more than meets the Eye. It's that sudden Jump in Intelligence!

...intelligence.... ........four legged beasts retained their intelligence ...... even simians retained theirs ........ but it has vastly eluded the upright two legged ones!
What is mistaken for intelligence is their persistence in self destruction and/or degeneration.

Ja, you mean that huge big void inside the skull?...the part that is usually filled with that thing called a brain?.....thats supposed to do "thinking"?

I love the way to describe it-now I think I know at last, what happened, since I could never explain it-havn't met any creator anyway.

And here's be thinking it is for keeping your ears apart...
Phoenix: And here's be thinking it is for keeping your ears apart...
... and the ears are for hanging your spectacles on, or earings, whichever is more important.
Of course, the arrangement of the ears and nose in conjunction with the eyes is obviously just a co-incidence in the evolution that began before optomotrists were invented.
As an aside ..... arent you guys just SO happy that your arms are located where they are, and they`re just the right distance .... to ... ah never mind, was just a silly thought, based on the abilities of an amoeba`s forethought.......

I recently became aware of this school of thought, and am now seriously considering becoming a pastafarian. That is, believing in the Flying Spaghetti Monster.

Conrad73: Brain? Always thought it was a "Blumenkohl". Or as that German Poet/Illustrator Wilhelm Busch called it:"The Activity Of The Cauliflower-Shaped Brain Is Commonly Called Thinking". ================================================================== still have not seen anything to learn from U

Well as usual, when there is an interesting thread, posts go at a tangent, and never address the real issue.
I have not read one post that definitely affirms YES & WHY or...............................................NO & WHY NOT all have circumnavigated the question.
The question of the creator as the prime mover is interesting. In our knowledge of things, everything has a reason for being or for functioning. In our Newtonian physics we learn about action and reaction being equal and opposite.
Because of the complexity of certain things in the world around us and in the universe, it is difficult to imagine how all this could have happened without a creator. This creator would have to be omniscient, omnipotent and omnivolent. But if this were the case, why was man made so imperfect? Why is it that he was created or made to live on a lump of rock still liquid on the inside, with volcanoes bursting everywhere and killing people, earthquakes and tsunamis all along the ages...etc?
Why is it that man had to create time, in order to be able to better understand something beyond time?
Did we humans create the first mover, the creator, or did he create us? We have a reason why we would want to create a creator? Because we can attribute to him all things that we cannot do or understand, yet we cannot understand him or the way in which he created us, because the capacity of our human brain cannot process a thing well beyond its capacity.
Since one thing leads to another, yes I do believe that it logical to assume that there is such a thing as a prime mover, although I cannot describe what or who it could possibly be.

You can tell I`m bored hey?..... nit-pik time ...
The Creator is the one who makes the world go round and brings us back to the sun every day, and the moon every night ..... who makes the water flow to keep us alive ... who made us into free thinking choosing beings ... to be as bad as we like or as good as we like .... with no conditions attached, except our own little concience.....who makes a tree grow out of a seed, and beasts able to care for their young. Only us superior beings arent pre-programmed to do that ...we cant even build our own nests, or keep our world clean .....

very interesting- and as its all beyond our comprehension then even if there is no supreme being, we have to invent one to make it seem plausible
