I used to get a lot of first time introductions like "Hi, can we be friends?" Having a bad day once I replied to one "Yes, we can. But don't go and get all out of joint when I'm trying to stuff your head into a sack and throw it in a hole. It was you who wanted to be friends, remember?"
Although it can't possibly be a bad thing having her inclusion in the political process, I tend to think it is just smoke and mirrors with a hidden agenda lurking underneath. I'm also betting before the years end there will be a protest of some description resulting in the armed forces killing again - old habits die hard.
History shows I'm more inclined toward natural, down to earth women who aren't really interested in changing their hair color, wearing much make-up or being that concerned about the image they project.
But it wouldn't worry me if they did I think, as long as it was for fun, or just a bit of change rather than some never ending, vain, self absorbed quest for comment or compliment.

Nevica - I meant that it seems you are running around busy all the time. Sorry for any miss-understanding but we use that phrase to describe people who are doing lots of things.
Hi Richard - I'm not sure it really matters whether we are driven or not as long as we remain loyal to our natural condition and not engage in any act just to appease others. I find most of us start out with the wrong map and after hitting a few dead ends realize we can only get to be where we want to be by throwing away any pre-written programming and engage in a good honest hunt to find our direction. Laz - Please don't take this the wrong way, but your style is how I imagine most people go about their time - got things they want to do but also able to relax and adjust when needed.

Hi marlene - You have a flexibility it seems which must be a really comforting thing to have, knowing you are able to adapt to what ever presents itself. Sounds like you are a "get on with it" type of person also.
Hi ya Ed - It's pointless getting jealous of another person's children the way I see it as there is no way you will win, and it is the surest way to drive the partner away. Why wouldn't you want to have a close as relationship as you could with the kids in the first place?
Hi ya Jules - I've artistic friends who have had trouble in the past (not suggesting that was your partners father's issue)with in-laws not regarding their career choice as legitimate. Pretty frustrating when a person is judged by their occupation.
Parti - The doomsdayers love a good series of natural disasters. Not sure if there are actually more of these types of events than normal, but it seems like it to me.
