Canada is facing back logs regarding the processing of refugee applications...specifically private sponsored refugee applicants (a cap was set) but we have a double the expected admissions in 2017 in comparison to 2015...according to CBC news...
Merkel may have jumped the gun...it does make good economic sense to allow refugees in when a country is faced with a shortage of people of working age...but I doubt the sheer amount of deported or soon to be deported refugees reflect the few refugees that caused trouble/broke the law...Merkel wants to save her job and keep those concerned people happy...politics at play...

If you think Trump's cabinet actually care about you think again...the rich will get richer and you will be paying for those tax breaks that Trump has mentioned regarding corporations...your environment will be ruined...remember Flint Michigan?...
As Sanders mentioned...the cabinet is filled with billionaires and millionaires...how do you think they got that rich?...

I agree both sides are rather tedious in their behaviour but Trump has a style all his own...remember the comment regarding Marco Rubio's appendage?...a whole new level...but I did laugh when Clinton called Trump supporters a basket of deplorable...just thought it was the truth...after all David Duke likes Trump and his nationalistic pride...and apparently so do others...
You might just want to continue your medicine to treat depression (assuming you are taking prescribed meds)but light therapy can help with winter depression as well as taking vitamin supplements...speak to your Doctor as herbal remedies might interfere with a prescribed medication...
Sometimes it takes a while to tweak medications to produce good results but unfortunately the side effects are problematic...weight gain and lack of libido...to name a few...
Engaging in physical activity can be an answer to feeling better...the endorphins kick in and make you feel better...not to mention the importance of getting out in the world and engaging with others...we all need to feel connected and appreciated...volunteer if need be...

When prejudice against women or others are present...infanticide does happen...India has the same problem...including a disproportunate increase in the male population...causing yet another problem...selling of women to become brides...these women are often mistreated and thought of as second class...
Considering all the female infanticide in China...due to their policy of one child...or the fact that men outnumber women...this change in policy is a good thing...now all they need to do is to recognize that females matter...
