You are absolutely right about to much seriousness on the blogs. I said this some time ago. We need to have more fun on here! Hey I know what we should do....let's hijack Mimi's cupcakes? She has so many, she won't miss them! What do you think?
In the early Christian church, Peter was married. It didn't seem to bother his ministry! 1 Corinthians 7:9 "But if they cannot control themselves, they should marry, for it is better to marry than to burn with passion". Paul the apostle wrote this! The catholic church has had this problem many, many years! They should have addressed this eons ago!
I am changing your name from Unlucky to Lucky! Count your blessings! God gave you two children, which are precious in His sight! Never give up! You had a good job before. Now you will find another because you have more experience. Don't be in a rush to meet a guy! Take your time and ask God to help you find him. God will do that for you!
Finding that special someone is like finding a very rare, vintage wine! One that you may only come accross once in your life! So you handle it with care! Patience is one of the most important virtues in looking for that special person!
Karaoke can be lots of fun! I have been doing it for about 25 yrs. Won a few contests during that time. I have been singing since I was in grade school in the church choir. Lots of fun when you have a bunch of family and friends doing it!
Mimi, I would like to hear you. But no hogging the mic!
Thanks Wallops! So very true! I sang My Way, Frank Sinatra. And Margaretaville, Jimmy Buffett. I love singing. They have music every Wed. nite. I was invited back to sing whenever I want!
I think Pepp has a one track mind....always thinking of ways to get money thru fees!
Math is one of things that I am very good at. I do most all of my calculations in my head! I trained myself to do it many years ago! It has been a real blessing for me. Algebra was very difficult for me. Maybe I didn't want to really learn it.
I think it all goes back to: "what the mind can conceive and believe....the mind can achieve"!
When I was in my first year of high school, I broke my right arm. I am right handed. I loved playing table tennis! I taught myself how to play left handed. Pretty quick, with lots of practice, I got pretty good at it. We had a table tennis tournament and I won playing left handed! I also sweep the floor left handed! Everything else I do right handed. Go figure!
RE: A Pair Of What?
Cat, Mimi caught us with a pair of cupcakes! What do we do now? Should we try and replace them or run for our lives?
