Calli, thank your for your comment about my new pic, it was taken Christmas day, I am really pleased with how well my hair is growing back.
I am really pleased you have recovered from all you mentioned but we will have to agree to disagree about whole jeses thing as nothing will make me believe it is anything other than a story.
I dont believe in New Year resolutions, setting yourself up to fail. If something needs to be changed then change it, no need to wait for a specific time of the year to do it.
And Merry Christmas to you. I am sitting hear waiting for my children to fall asleep so that I can do Santa, they are 17 and 20 but we still do the excitement of Santa.
We will stand tall and in the end, our voice of truth will be heard. Maybe we will become martyrs as many have before us.. But even if that is our faith, others will rise. Freedom will be our faith. Freedom for all on CS. Power to the people. .
lol thanks for the laugh, really, this is a website not to be taken so seriously. I have to say having been on this site on and off for almost 5 years, it is with a combination of pity and laughter that I read posts like the above. They NEVER achieve anything other than to continue the bad feelings between some posters and really make people look sad and thats definitely not attractive.
The church may well be against divorce but certainly have no input into the actual divorce here. If a person was married in church and wishes to apply for a church annulment they can, it is harder to get than a divorce and a seperate thing entirely from a legal divorce.
@redex Thank you, just updated my pic, still had hair in the previous one so it wasnt a true reflection of me as I am at the moment.
I did what we call a DIY divorce. Had been separated 11 years, you have to be at least 4 out of the previous 5 years living apart here before you can apply for a divorce, nothing to contest, house I lived in was mine and he had no interest in the children,he had run up a lot of date but I had cleared that in the first 5 years of our separation, so it was simply a matter of filling out the paperwork, paying to get a solicitor to notarise them and about 5 mins in front of a judge, he wasnt even there.
I dont believe in leaving it for months before meeting someone. I dont think you can know if you want to date someone until you have actually met. I dont have skype and dont use msn so after some mails on here if we seem to have things in common I will exchange mobile numbers and arrange to meet, usually for coffee, I find that the easiest first meet. Then we can decide if we want to meet again.
Can someone please tell me then what is the difference between blogging and starting a thread on the forums?
I always thought that forums where for discussion and blogs for people to post their thoughts, not necessarily that they were looking for a discussion on the topic.
I dont get the friends list thing, one of the useless features on the site IMO. I have a couple of people on mine, those I have met are chatted to a lot and have sent me a request.
I have never sent one and delete the numerous ones I get from people I have never chatted to.
RE: A New Years Invintation to Trust in Christ
I used to read the bible a lot as a child, I read all kinds of books a lot, it is just a story and not actually fact.
