Comment or not, thats the question
I read something here that made me think about this. We all know that a blog collects texts or articles from one author, and they also tend to have a feedback system that allow readers to establish a conversation with the author and each other about what has been published. That doesn’t mean its mandatory to give a response. It depends on many factors. In CS many of us write when we want to share something or if we have enough free time to do it. Publishing something not necessarily imply that we should respond to all comments. Its not rudeness or lack of education but depends on the circumstances. Many times we are working and can not be aware of the comments. Some other comments may be offensive and do not deserve a response that would generate a meaningless discussion. Finally its also Ok if someone don’t want to re-comment because we are free to share our thoughts or no.I would say dont get offended if you dont have a reply or if some responses are not what you want to hear. Just keep blogging and be tolerant.

I always thought that forums where for discussion and blogs for people to post their thoughts, not necessarily that they were looking for a discussion on the topic.
Unlike this, usually in a forum topics are proposed within the general theme of the forum, and almost always people can ask a question or put forward an opinion, and so begins a dialogue with the other users.
In both cases being polite is the best way to comment as you have shown here. Thanks.
