Whether a broadcasters finance comes from a governmental source or a private backer, there will always be some biased reporting, you don't bite the hand that feeds you. I really fail to understand why people are so strung up on whats left wing, Right wing. A good view/idea should not be ignored because it comes from a direction one doesn't pay into. And one should not listen to a single source to make up ones mind
Spain has had the opposite experience on numbers, when we were all locked in away from fresh air sunshine and exercise our cases multiplied through the roof. With the easing of restrictions they are dropping and dropping.
Could the reason for that not be that people carried the infection in to lockdown, having contracted it prior. If the lockdown had not been in place, they would have infected many others.
As isolation begins to end in most Countries, we can expect a rise in infections, until a vaccine is available widespread and free. People become complacent, do not change masks often enough forget to wash hands. Ignore social distancing.
This isn't the first virus in the past 10 years that has been deadly, hopefully it will be the last one that a Country tries to cover up because it will not be the last virus
With the speed in which trials are happening, how can there be confidence in the lasting affect of any vaccine. Everyone would hope a single dose will last a lifetime, until trials last longer than a year, confidence in any vaccine should remain lower than any "for profit" Company states. Covid has mutated, will no doubt keep doing so.
How easy it is for us in the West to sit on our comfy couches with electricity and water in plenty of supply. Thankfully the majority wont ever know the harshness and hoplessness of those trapped in a Country at war. How quick though many Westerners make judgements. And I think those judgments are often based on someones religion and not on an individual. Here is a man concerned for his family, that is something we can all sympathise with.
Count your lucky stars. If he is that insecure, you are better off without him. That's if that's his real reason. He may have been playing the numbers game. Smile and don't look back.
