It fails me completely how anyone can think God is fair and just. How can it ever be justified losing 3 children. To have belief in someone so cruel and unkind is beyond my thinking.
You need to learn the art of "subtle sarcasm", done with a smile they will not have a clue you are having a joke at their expense. Cruel some might say, well their behavior started it..
People worry too much about the profile, its quite simple, mine gives a short accurate description of me, I then give three opinions of what I want and thats it, oh a touch of humour is good, women like a funny guy, not too serious....
putting aside whether it was a fake letter or not, circulated to many different women.....
I do feel very sorry for those who have English as a second langauge who make large efforts to communicate with English speaking people only to have what they say ridiculed. Also to bear in mind is the cultural differences, which do not easily translate when using a second langauge and when ones grasp of that langauge is poor.....
Without knowing the letter was fake, I would have said he made every effort to sound sincere and tried hard to show his values which given his culture could have conflicted.
Sometimes, if not a lot of the time, we here, do not appreciate the courage it takes to speak in a foreign tongue, let alone write in it.......to those who do, I salute you
Wipe the slate clean and start again, what do you really have to lose. Meet him first in a very public place, don't allow your heart to get too close too quickly and see how things pan out. People do daft things, he could be sincere he may not be, only time will tell
Someone's profile could have 1000 words all B/S and a pack of lies or one could have 20 words all true and meaning . How you choose who to mail is of course entirely upto you , though sometimes we all fail to see what's just in front of our nose .

i completely agree , family heartache is the hardest to deal with , i also take a long time to mend , please ditch the books as your right they only make someone else rich , may your search reward you with peace so the journey feels worth while and may your journey be a short one
Life often seems unfair when you look around and see what other people have and then compare it with ones own life , if only we could be happy with what we do have rather than worry about what we don't , thats so true of myself , but is it not human nature to strive to improve ones life , isn't life about partners and marriage and sharing with that someone special . To say time is a healer is true but it never seems that way when seen in our present time it only works when looking back in life , my heart goes out to you and my mail box will be open if you need a friend , be strong and look forward to life rather than looking back , lady luck will come your way x
