RE: LOVE SPELL #2

Only less than attractive ladies have to resort to such hokus-pokus incantations. You sugarbum don't need any tricks, just show up and he's interested.love

RE: Mirror, mirror, on the wall

We live in an image driven society sadly.Look at modern music its all about image, no substance, no depth.I don't care what the artist looks like but many do these days.
The results? Justin Beiber is a star.
Women and men alike are narcissistic and vain. Its a dog and pony show these strange days.

RE: What do you think about dating this woman...

Yes, those nails are overkille.A nice manicure is one thing but it gets gawdy when they are too long.Don't want to date momma grizzly.

RE: whats your off handed food

Jim your never at a loss for words.A picture paints a thousand words.

RE: whats your off handed food

Yeah I do.The other stuff dont' sound bad either.

RE: Its just like the Sunday drive

Invokes good memories virgo.Used to go on Sunday drives with my Dad as kid just like you described.Gas was .75 cents a gallon. The Hollies were playing on the A.M. radio(all you could get in a car back then) saw picturesque Norman Rockwell pieces of Americana in the rural settings of Alabama.
Sure do miss them.cheers

RE: Premature use of those three words

Gives me the heebie-jeebies.

RE: Son of a Fisherman

I think she thought I was flirting with another member or ignoring her.I had never even viewed this other womans profile or e-mailed her?
She'll be fine later.Wasn't sure she felt that strongly?dunno

RE: Son of a Fisherman

I made someone angry on another blog a while ago.You know who you are.Im' flabbergasted.Wasn't intentionally trying to?sigh

RE: Son of a Fisherman

The element of danger and uncertainty is there in a fisherman's life.Let me a raise a glass to you.cheers

RE: Son of a Fisherman

Thats gotta be hard way to make a living. But if its something you love it, its worth it.I'd loose what little sanity remains sitting in a cubicle, listening to the hum of a ballast in a flourescent light.drinking

RE: Son of a Fisherman

I fish in the Gulf of Mexico occasionally, Orange Beach or Destin Florida.Im' not a charter captain just a weekend angler.
This reminds me of an old song by Lefty Frizzel called "Saginaw Michigan" about the son of a fisherman trying to win the hand his love. Her father an aristocrat who disapproved.Has a surprise ending I know you'd like Virgo.

RE: Son of a Fisherman

Luv me some fishin Virgo.Keep em coming!cheers

RE: Keep what you have now...

Beautifully put.But sometimes we don't need what we have.Sometimes we don't even know exactly what we have.
I beleive true love is predesitined and provedential. We'll know it when it comes.

RE: Afraid to live/Afraid to die

Iv'e got it! In order to achieve balance in my life I will move to Pennsylvania and join the Amish.Change my name to Eziekiel and then every Saturday nite sneak off to Phily and bang my head, get some new ink,get drunk then go back and ride my horse with a hangover.

RE: Afraid to live/Afraid to die

Its a slow nite out here tonite.Kinda reminds me of the bar scene a little. The regulars, the drifters and the occasional guests.

RE: GREAT TRUTHS THAT LITTLE CHILDREN HAVE LEARNED:

Good nugets of wisdom and humor.Iv'e seen some similiar quotes in the Farmer's Almanac.Maybe some folks will take some of these to heart.

RE: Stuck

Frank, You should write a book. What would the title be?
Who would write the foward? What about the very first chapter?
Ever gave it any thought?

RE: Stuck

I guess everything is relative and subjective.Things change, people change.
Sixty Minutes once asked Willie Nelson about divorce. He,said "Why are divorces so expensive, because there worth it".

RE: Stuck

No, I must confess there were times in my marriage that I took her for granted. And her me as well.I did want an escape from responsibilty at times.
There are a lot of married people who want to be single and a lot of single people who want to be married.
Seems as if the divorce bug went around like a virus. Many of our friends and co-workers, never thought it would happen to us.
I read somewhere if your best friend gets divorced your chances go up dramatically.

RE: Two can make it happen!

Reminds me of a song from the eighties,"It takes two to make a thing go right." Used to dance to that song on the floor all night. At the time I didn't have a clue about things.Especially love.

RE: CONTINUED

We may actually have some common ground here. The prosperity movement has corrupted the church, no doubt about it.

RE: secret man

If he's working round the clock, how is he going to give you the time and attention you yearn for?
There are a lot of married people who want to be single and a lot of single people who want to be married.wine

RE: Irene is in New Jersey & New York

monticito, Hope and pray for your safety.I have some cousins in the north-east.Iv'e made friends on these blogs,(hopefully more with one) with ladies from the mid atlantic. Its already done its damage there.I haven't heard from them.
I bet they have no power or web access.
I beleive hurricanes are under estimated. They just kinda sit there with sustained winds and rain.

RE: Johnny n June

Yes,arose1791, Iv'e always loved the music of Johnny Cash and the Carter family as well. They did have a love that we all hope to find. Its an intangible to me, I can't put into words what a love like theirs looks like but I know it when I see it.

RE: Make my day

You had an epiphany Lana12345...... you nailed it.
Thanks, for the kind words too.

RE: Make my day

Irene has made it a slow day on the blogs I suppose.Yes, contary to popular belief, we knuckle dragging clods(aka) men do sometimes have feelings. We just have to hide em.

RE: Zodiak question...

Aries, some fire in the belly. At some point you're gonna need it.
