Zodiak question...

How many people use the Zodiak sign as a tool to either yea or nay a potential date? I personally avoid the sign of the ex-wife.

Never. But it is strange that there is a zodiak sign that I just can not seem to get along with, even when I put 92 percent into trying to get along.

Sands, intresting you brought this up. Was thinking about doing so myself, cos i must ashamedly admit i put too much into which sign one have.
I almost exclude anything but these:

Taurus, Gemini, Cancer, Leo.

Sands, Perh we spoke past each other after all (?) i wasent exactly thinking quantity of canidates, but rather several qualitys in her to be in place. 5 green. And i may be as supastitious to let zodiak be one of them, but in reallity its more like: if zodiak
is "wrong" it can still be right but i need more convincing, cos i believe less to begin with.

What i'd like to hear from the others are: is this crazy or..?
Whats your experiance in the field?

I don't believe in zodiac signs at all.It's nothing more then a bunch of unscientific babble.According to my sign I should be a certain way but am completely opposite of it and actually they just changed all the zodiac signs so many people who used to be one sign are now another.

@Mary: the sings are only new for people born since the change, it's not retro so you are what you were born. The change is based on the new positions of the zodiac in the sky, they move over long periods of time because of the earths wobbel and universe expansion.

As far as the question, you need much more than just sun signs, you need the entire chart of each individual, and the 2 together to study a relationship with astrology. I do relationship charts and they are usually very good, but 90% of the time, sun sign matching will be wrong.

I'm Aquarius with ascendent in Scorpio. I'm also Tiger and B+ blood type.

I used to consider a man's sign, but I'm not interested any more. I'm a little careful with Aries, however.

As far as I know the ascendent has a great influence too. But to what degree I don't know... It is defined according to the hour of your birth.

Hmm, I try not to be caught up in it... but sometimes the same signs just keep coming up.
I am Leo with Scorpio/Sagittarius ascendant... if you know your stuff, it says it all.

I do and don't. I believe in the personality part of it all, but if a person has grown to a greater maturity outside of the negative aspects, then signs can be taken out of the equation. I dated many types of my compatible signs, but they didn't pan-out. I have connected with others outside my sign, but they weren't mature enough for me. It all depends on the maturity of a person and how much they have learned from their life experiences. Don't give up on anyone because of their sign, even if it's your ex's sign. You never know who you are passing up. I am a cancer and didn't like what i saw in myself. I worked on changing for the better and realized how stupid i use to be. I am more in control of my emotions and so forth. Growth is important. Base a possible relationship on the conversation and abilities of a prospective partner. If she is shallow, small talker, selfish and only thinks about herself, then move one. That occurs in every zodiac sign. I will say, that often, 2 compatibles are a match from the zodiac and often find themselves together, but many of my good friends who have been married a long time, are totally not zodiac compatible, but beat the odds. Why, because their relationship is mature and built on actual love, nothing more, nothing less.
