Afraid to live/Afraid to die
I see many different people from many different backgrounds and walks of life during my busy day and the one thing that I have noticed is two distinct groups. One group lives a rigid, isolated lifestyle which usually consists of a lot of self discipline, certain strict rules and regulations which can be extreme even to the point of depriving oneself of simple harmless pleasures in life.
The other group lives life with no rules. Living on the edge, experiencing as much as possible and doing everything excessively until they become numb to the reality of death , as if they are bullet proof.
But isn't balance the key to living a happy , full life?

Wait for me!
Frank,
Yep exactly
A healthy balance is always good..They can loosen up a little once in awhile and enjoy life and they also know when to be serious.
I spent a long long time living in the fast lane, as it were, and if one is lucky enough to bale out of the car just before it hits a wall, lol, you can actually relish the mundane for a little while.
However the fast lane has one hell of a pull, and once you have been in it, you will eternally yearn for the rush you get there.
Its a "balancing act" :)
Me too...I was a wild child.lol After the smoke settled I realized that wow life is fragile and should be treated with respect because it is a precious gift.
