Dream
There is a piece of land just behind the local Library where I go now and then and I dream to someday live on a spot with such beauty. I often stand there and gaze at it dreaming of a house on that beautiful hill perfectly lined with pines...it looks so peaceful and natural. This is my dream. Simple and yet seemingly unreachable, untouchable.....never to be realized. For if it is it will no longer be a dream. What is your dream place? Is there a place that has you in aw? A place you dream of living one day?

Sweet...it would be complete.
parti,
Yes...people always gotta spoil everything
Frank,
You are a lucky guy.....the right woman? Never know you could meet her at the local market . Just don't talk to her while you're squeezing the melons
Like free spirited hippies?
I'm at a lose for words....cheers
I can certainly see why you admire it.
My dreamscape is small town about 28 miles from the Gulf of Mexico. In my home state of Alabama. Its far enough to avoid storm surge from hurricanes but close enough to be at the beach in a jiffy.
It has historic old churches, stately Victorian houses,a town square and a collection of small shops. There are some bed and breakfasts and a few small resturants with fresh seafood daily.
When you first enter the place there are these ancient old Live Oaks crowned with Spanish Moss.Kinda reminds you of Savanah or Charleston if you've ever been there.
My ex-wife and I always talked about retiring to this place.
I still hope to, whether single or married.
This Dream blog also reminds me of an old Twighlight zone episode called "Willoughby".A young exec fed up with the rat race dreamed of his idylic place on the Train ride home from NYC every night as he napped.

Your hometown sounds like a beautiful place. Living near the water can be very soothing and tranquil
Belle,
Gorgeous Victorian home. We have quite a few of those in some of our smaller towns her in MI and I never get tired of their unique architectural beauty.
Two words: Simply beautiful
