Good interesting conversation is a lost art, with texting, and all the other techno programs many have lost the ability to write coherently or even hold a real conversation. I like you have been discussed with the lack of ability to have good conversations. It seams that the vocabulary of todays writer has downgraded to one word sound bites ( OK, Cool, Ur, Cuz , M, Yes, No, etc.).
After a while, You just have to leave them and look for some one who can communicate.

For those of us who enjoy a good companion, we have to just keep climing until one of the those beautiful ladies (or good loking man, in the ladies case) slipping down the mountian and falls into our arms. I have experience in long distance relationship, as my ex-wife (of 18 years)was from the Philippines, and I wrote and called her for almost a year before I went over to the Philippines to marry her. It is not easy as we have to blend two cultures and lifestyles into a friendship and then into a relationship. There has to be committment in such a relationship, but it can work, and yes someday it has to be a physical relationship if it is to continue and grow.
I am open and honest in my communications at all times and answer all and any of questions, even those that might make me look foolish for the mistakes that I have made over the years. In saying that I know that honesty like beauty is in the eyes of the beholder, meaning my truth (honesty) from my prospective may not be the same truth as sean from you prospective.
