This is a meeting place with some advantages, and some disadvantages.

I have only been listing countries and not the number of folk in each country.

So tonight we have added Canary Isles, South Africa and Indonesia.

Conference calls have been great. Thanks for all who managed to join.

This was not about people skyping me - but a chance for them to be in touch with each other as well.

We have crossed time zones from 3pm in the USA - pm in the UK - to 4am in Indonesia.

I work on a simple premise - if you have to think what to say next - "it ain't working"

Theres nothing as uninteresting as asking someone an "open" question and just getting a yes or no answer.

She will hopefully stay on at her sisters in St Louis for a few days. She wants home and her own bed but is not fit to travel.

You say you have no time and no money (well money is not important) Most localpapers have "lonely hearts columns" (sounds terrible that)

Make time - go where there are sociable people - dance classes, evening classes, cinema club.

I am separated - not divorced yet. But as my sons are 26 and 24 they are old enough to make up their own minds about the future.

My ex and I try to be civilised - I would say now we are like brother and sister. Definately no chance or option in either of our minds about getting back together.

Bur you also added to the equation by trying to love someone with "other" problems. Do you know how difficult that is?

Keep well and stay positive.

Some things are not meant to be no matter how hard we try.
