Firstly I don't generally agree in saying anything negative. If I don't like you or what you are saying I'll keep my thoughts to myself.

But for someone that might want to get to know you better - I would think looking at your profile was mandatory. They won't always agree with you either in a conversation or in your blogs. That is called getting to know someone.

I think you are too hard on yourself. Most of us here have our own sad stories/history and can empathise.

You won't meet anyone by starting off by pushing everyone away.

As has been said above - If you can't learn to love you - you will make yourself unlovable.

Be well - not everyone is out to get you.

What would you think if a rich lady knocked you back because you could not afford her lifestyle?

Of course money matters - but it should not stop you falling in love. I would respect a person with very little if they were living as well as they can within their means.

There are an awful lot of poor folk in the world - even more so with high unemployment in many countries.

Debt is the biggest relationship killer and cause of most divorces.

Someone invited me to skype them for the 1st time this morning and we just chatted like old friends.

We all have one you know - especially talking across time-zones.
If someone likes you at your worst - they will love you more at your best.

Morning Shay It's just after 7am in the UK. It takes a bit of getting used to - time zones - USA 5-6 hours behind me, Australia 10 hours ahead.

No luck Irish - I had heard that the annual leave in the US was poor. In the UK I get 6 weeks plus about 9 days.

Dating God You set your sights high. But even if the guy was only a few hundred miles away some of the problems work/family could still be there.
