I am separated - not divorced yet and have 3 sons 26 and 24.

Will they ask me who to date/marry - of course not. So when I find someone, my partner for the future - they won't come second but you would definately come first.

Any person that puts family before new love (unless it's young children) is not ready for a new relationship.

I have chatted with a few folk with no profile pic.

I have met a few folk as well, though by that time we have probably chatted on the phone or skyped. I have also been on skype with one person who does not look like her profile photo (she has her reasons) and we are still friends.

I would never look for someone in a pub. Statistically you have a better chance in a church or supermarket.

affiliation - I agree with some of what you say.

But can you just blame "someone"? Many countries are like Greece - at the moment not as bad off. But, we lived through the years off plenty, maxed out credit cards, housing boom etc

So are we not all to blame for not asking questions sooner?

At the moment I am looking ahead to holidays - is Greece a cheap option - No. Why is that?

I don't want to seem a leech feeding off someone elses misfortune. But it is an opportunity to bring revenue into the country.

While I have some sympathy for your situation.

You strike, fight and have started burning in your country - but what answers do you have?

I don't have any debt,never have, so I certainly don't understand that if you can't pay your debts why anyone - individual or country - thinks that the answer is borrow more.

Somewhere you have to draw a line and say no more - take the pain and at least get some degree of respect back.

There are statistics for the divorce rate in a country but no stats for couples co-habiting. So maybe the divorce rate is low compared to couples separating.
