Ah ok that makes sense. Wouldn't want Flipper wetting your profile in your absence. Shay often proposes to me, but then again she only asks questions she knows she will get a positive response to. What can I say, I'm a Yes-man!!!
Hi Cofy. Its certainly true that there is often good to come from any difficult, hard or heartbreaking situation. But its something else to be able to acknowledge that during the hard times, that takes enormous strength of character. Its wonderful for you to be able to see it under your current circumstances.
Hi there Summer. I must say your English is very good. But there is a difference between being understood and being correct. There are mistakes in your written English, which, if it was to be dissected by a native English speaker, could appear unprofessional. Remember you are representing your company when you communicate externally. Please don't shoot me, I am speaking as devil's advocate here.
There are two aspects to this. First, was your boss correct in the essence of what she said? As I mentioned above, that is possibly true. Second, was she correct in the manner she said it? Absolutely not. The irony is that a few grammatical errors will be understood and can be corrected. A personality like hers cannot.
I would suggest that when you correspond with native English speakers on here you ask them to be brutal with you, and correct any mistakes you make. Thats the only way to learn and put the mistakes to bed.
Well....knowing nothing about the history behind this post, I would suggest that your happiness is way more important than any money. Whatever changes you made, you obviously made for a reason. Sorry if Im speaking right out of turn, but hopefully I make some kind of sense....
I'm going to make a point of wearing it now at all oppurtunities! Shez, very wise to keep me waiting. I mean...my shirt needs ironing first, and that only happens once in a blue moon.....
Good advice Max...I dunno...I think I like the mystery of not knowing....having to check my profile to see the pic properly....it helps the attention seeking side of me!!!
Oooh Shez...you obviously don't know Belgium. Land of beer. 24/7 service if thats what is required. I can buy beer from the service stations, vending machines.....pretty much anywhere!
RE: You're here because of loneliness, if not go elsew
You got it Cofy!!!
