Balancing the scales . . .
Life has an amazing knack of balancing the scales . . .sometimes we think things are sooo bad and then suddenly something happens which brings a smile. The converse could also be true.
We had a death in our family a week ago.
That in itself was heartbreaking for all of us, but there was also great good which came from it, and I suspect that some more will come from it too.
It's not always easy to acknowledge the good within a difficult situation, but for some reason, when I look, there always seems to be one . . . and I am eternally grateful for that.

A good dose of love makes everything alright
Largely we are pretty close, but the next generation is not. So hopefully, that is one of the good things coming out of this tragedy . . .

Don't worry, we one up on you this time. Already have plans in motion for a family reunion weekend. It is bound to be crazy, but I'm looking forward to it.

I am sorry for the soul thats gone, life is so unfair sometimes but we have to find energy and power to move on, Life has to continue.
Although it is not easy to cope with it at times, I believe that our time is set, so I accept the passing on, also knowing she has moved on to a better place makes it a lot easier to handle
