Mark Twain made mistakes, lost money, got indebted but "struggled" to pay it back. Well, he had his own capabilities to do it, just lucky in this case.

I have always admitted my mistakes especially while on the job. People accept the truth very well. At my current job my boss, a very young man, is pretty arrogant, but the one good thing about him is he will not get mad if you tell the truth when you make a mistake.

I used to be one of those people who succeeded at everything because I had a fear of failure. Then one day, I made the mother of all mistakes and it seemed horrendous but it sort of freed me somehow and I haven't looked back since.
