Our inspirations
Inspirations, stimuli that keep us going, and move us to be stimulated to do an activity/actions/emotions that appeal to our mind and soul.Just like writing a blog, what stimulates me is the idea of talking to some nice people (though indirectly) and know what's other's may be doing in this fine Saturday. If I feel down sometimes my participation in the blogs varies, if I am up and about that's when I frequent on comments and write. Do you have the same tendency?
In real life why, what, who keeps you going, and give inspirations? .... And mind to be inspired as well here.

My inspirations come from many people and different sources.
My children and Beautiful Grand daughter inspire me to do certain things.
Memories (both good and bad)sometimes inspire me to do things as well.
Reading an article in a paper, magazine or maybe something of the net, even a blog sometimes inspire me.
So there are many and varied things that inspire me.
Good topic Shay, should get interesting responses i think.
By the way, hows your nephew?
Oh my little nephew, he is wonderfully giving us joy. One month old already and he has gain a lot of pounds since, which is desirable. What he do is cry when he feels like it, feed and sleep.
You will find in the next couple of months and not so many years, your nephew will give you many inspirational moments as well.
Dont forget to spoil him, but not too much....
I could not think of a better "godmother"...
I am a "godfather" to one of my nephews, and we have the same tradition here also. Here there is also a tradition that the godparents get to take responsibility for the child if anything happens to the parents before the child becomes an adult.
But maybe we should ask him....
he is 30 now, and i still send him gifts for his birthday and christmas......
nah i normally buy him things for his car or maybe ties sometimes i just give him a gift voucher.

I consider myself a Christian though i do not attend church.
Not because i do not believe, more because i believe we should hold more faith in our own abilities to handle most (not all) put before us.
And i agree wholeheartedly in the importance of self respect first and foremost.
Simmo, I am the same like you. I go to church on big holidays and whenever I feel like doing it. Talking with God can be realized everywhere and anytime, since He "works" 24/7
He is inside us.
I do believe that as funny as it sounds.
from a young age we are taught by our parents right from wrong, and the bible has the foundations of what is right and wrong, And we choose which path we go down.
ur choices are what make us what we are today.
You say God is in us, and i say Heaven is all around us.
I am my own inspiration first ... It all starts from within .... When you have tuned into your inspiration, you feel amazing because you are feeling you ...
I guess sometimes though you would get inspiration from your daughter in some ways?
I will also add Jana, the way respecting oneself manifest a lot individually. Respect given by others will depends on how they would see us respecting ourselves. As well as love.

There are lot of people and things that inspire me ..... But it starts with me ....
Most definitely, in fact my tummy ROARS at me....sometimes it ROARS so loud it scares me.....
I grew up in a village where I have all the luxury of enjoying nature has to offer. And would love to experience them countless in the future to come.

Like you saied people do inspire us most of time is family make us going. But it is us who should need woke up every morning and not let no day defet us.
Smile even when you feel your down a bit talk to yourself look in the mirror and make funny faces, don't take everything to serios if you do then is when your feeling down, do not feel down or sad cos you alone..try get inspiration from your own self.
Like i do: i woke up and first think i do i talk to my self in the mirror and say:" Miss this is a new day for you, so do your best not to disappoint me."
And much "inspired" after I got a look of an adorable cutie.
