RE: RE:HIGH-PROFILE KILLINGS OF BLACK MEN

Some people were disrespecting the OP and I think a some would rather believe hype than the truth, unfortunately conversing

RE: RE:HIGH-PROFILE KILLINGS OF BLACK MEN

Thank You, adventure, for posting that. I read the whole thing. High school just brushes on the surface of our history. White people are clueless to what the blacks have endured and still endure to this day. It has to change. Not just racial mindsets and stereotyping, but the tactics of the police force. Can't we come up with better weapons that would stun an aggressor instead of killing him? With our star wars type technology, it just seems to me that we could come up with something more HUMANE than death. We don't always shoot to kill a bear that wanders into a playground; we oftentimes shoot it with something to put it to sleep then transport it to another location.

RE: It's the distance

Would you be willing to get out of your comfort zone and meet a woman beyond 600 miles? The older we get, the more open minded we have to be....if we want to find someone....handshake

RE: re:Ferguson

The cop is facing lawsuits up and coming, so the money will pass right through his hands...the Brown family is going to go for wrongful death, as I understand it, and then the FBI will do their investigation; the police department, and also the Justice Department. tip hat

RE: EVERYTHING is made by light and sound frequencies

I agree.....and it is beginning to be proven by science thumbs up

RE: relationships and our frustrations

I think the most important thing is to try and treat the other person with respect. I see too many couples treat each other badly, with criticizing, humiliating, name calling, yelling, accusing, and mean jokes. No wonder too many relationships don't last. As for the couples that stay together happily over time, I think they treat each other better as well as having that sense of commitment.

RE: Congress debates Indian tribe recognition

Hmmmm, I guess I just don't quite get why, but hopefully something good will happen wine those people have had to fight for hundreds of years for their rights

RE: Congress debates Indian tribe recognition

Sounds like a soap opera........normally the money made from casinos not only benefits the tribe, but the community too wave

RE: re:OTHER CITIES IN DANGER

Thanks, sista, for posting this. The numbers do not agree with people's stereotypes--a very telling thing.

And I don't appreciate the way that fool, er, cop shot up that kid so many times. Any decent police would not have over-reacted like that. Proof there was something wrong with him.

RE: Do women prefer flowers or chocolates?

Oh, how nice of you! I would prefer some flowers to make my day grin

RE: Do women prefer flowers or chocolates?

Some flowers would be nice grin I'll send you a private message with my address--thanks sad flower

RE: women of today

Women nowadays don't NEED a man, they only WANT a man, and that makes a HUGE difference in how things used to be vs how they are now. Women are learning that they don't have to stay in a sour or abusive marriage. And what is wrong with a woman wanting a fling here or there? Men have done it all along...now it's the women's turn and some men are put off by that? dunno Times have changed, haven't they?

RE: women of today

I think alot of women have had bad experiences and so they have given up dunno

RE: THE TRUE YAHSURA

The Rastafari believe he/they were black...and that he/they had dreadlocks...that is supposedly in the bible too, about the dreadlocks, something Christians would probably not want to believeshock

RE: Looking Out

Does this do-gooder Muslim know the history of Jamaica? you guys have been through enough of "we know what's good for you" treatment. I think he needs to clean up his own back yard. The End.

RE: How soon is too soon to get married?

I wonder how deep the feelings are of some celebrities, too. But I read a book once, called Love at First Sight, and according to the authors, love at first sight marriages actually tend to last longer....maybe we should be open-minded? Makes me wonder if everyone who waits years, to see if it is "right" really isn't sure enough? On the other hand, many who rush into a relationship end up splitting up later, too. Still, I'm open to whirlwind things...I know alot of them are good relationships too

RE: truth that make you laugh

and the definition of WIFE is:
Without Understanding Fighting Everytime.

That's the mans' version. The woman would say:

RE: confused

You have every right to set the pace of the relationship scold Tell him you are not ready and that you need to take your time. If that isn't okay with him, consider that suspicious confused Don't ever let someone push you into something

RE: love is simple

I'm feeling like people are lacking in love these days uncertain

RE: Why is firing such a popular practice?

Unions were put in place to protect the employees, because it is all too true the a good hard working employee can be fired because he is making more money, then a young person is hired to do the work for far less. Or perhaps an employee is reaching retirement age, but is let go to save the company money, even though the worker was loyal for many years. It is not right to allow an employer to get away with anything---what about overtime? how many workers are not paid for it? What about employees taking work home with them, yet are not compensated for their time? What about cell phones? Many workers must even take that on vacation with them! Ridiculous-- Can't a person unwind? So I DON'T agree that the dictator--er, employer, is always right or fair. hijack

RE: Malala Win Nobel Peace Prize

From the very first article I read about her, back before she ever got shot in the face by those evildoer cowards, I realized that she is a very special person; I see her as a sort of saint, really. A very evolved, and brave, soul. She is truly special and deserves no less than the Nobel Peace Prize she has earned. angel angel angel
