I agree with this post. I've read alot of predictions from many sources going back many many years ago, and now am seeing so much of it happening these days Those in denial are at a disadvantage; they will be unprepared and that includes emotionally I live by the Cascade mountainous range and I'm ready for the volcanoes to all start up.....and quakes to increase. This area with Seattle and Boeing are at risk for attack. And an EMP attack could shut down our whole, outdated, unprotected power grid. If that happens modern technology comes to a standstill and it will be a mad max scenario with marshal law coming in to place.
I like to believe that nature has provided what we need to maintain health. Most pharmaceuticals are modeled after plants that heal! But the drugs are not left in their natural state; instead, a chemical is created with "side effects" that make you sick. I saw in a magazine 8 pages of side effects and warnings for an advertised drug! Scary! I readily will take an antibiotic even though there are negative ingredients such as aluminum, for example. I know that natural medicine can be effective. Example: I had repeated eye infections called chelazions, and antibiotics, ointments and even surgery were all failures. I went to a Naturapathic doctor and she gave me one dose of a homeopathic remedy. The eye healed. Homeopathy has been used on animals and babies with success. Animals and babies don't lie or pretend. Not only are our drugs risky, but baby formula is full of genetically modified corn syrup, and MSG.
Interesting blog, it's true. But sometimes some unhappy soul means to cut you down, and in that case it is a reflection of their sad internal state and not so much you. Don't take it personal but learn to be assertive
Sol, what you say it true...when 2 people decide to meet they are expecting or hoping to begin something together, even though sometimes, things go south once they meet. But then, things can go south at any time, like 20 years after marriage It is nice for the man to offer to pay for the accommodations, however. The woman doesn't have to accept, can stay in her own room if she chooses.
Oh, I'm probably the one who corrects everyone else with my know it all at-ti-tude but I might have good ideas even if what I have to say might not be that entertaining I'm definitely a thinkerbut at least I'm not a troll I just try to stay peaceful and content
The problem with Religious institutions is that they are MAN MADE, supposedly inspired by a higher power. For centuries, people didn't question it and looked up to it as something set in place by God himself......but that is not the case. People can do good or do bad...so these institutions can be as sick as the people running them, or as good as the people running them. Churches are made up of PEOPLE. Built by people and run by people.
The holy books, likewise, were written by PEOPLE. Supposedly inspired by God himself...but bottom line, they were written by people, interpreted by people, and translated by......people. With all of the mistakes that people make. That is why the bible is so full of the CUSTOMS of the times that they were written in. And that is why some books were later removed...maybe some passages as well. So it is NOT INFALLIBLE. However, I think there are some truths and wisdom within, here and there, and the prophecies are interesting. Seems to be some hidden codes within as well.
nobody is perfect.....there is no such thing. People start out all starry eyed about their partner and then are disappointed in the other person's flaws that are revealed in time We need to realize that we are not perfect either, and that the other person loves us for who we are anyways, so we should love them as well, unless their "flaw" is something we can't--or shouldn't--live with
Marriage used to be an expectation by society, a business deal, and something permanent. Times have changed, people have changed...maybe the formal contract should be extinguished and let people live together by sheer will and get the government out of it? Just a thought... I don't know....
I love to laugh, have always been a bit of a comedian I agree that many of us take things too seriously in life We all need to loosen up and have a good time every now and then I was blessed to be raised in a family that could laugh, and I passed that onto my kids. We all know how to be silly and laugh until it hurts
I have made pen pals from Africa, might go visit there someday...one of them is in South Africa, one in Camaroon, one in Gambia and a couple of them are in Ghana, and one is in Uganda...
I once had a man literally have a meltdown and a temper tantrum that showed me that he was a toddler in an adults' body...I never saw him the same way again and the friendship went south
I've had alot of experiences with this....a hand on my shoulder and when I turned around, nobody was there....dishes moving around in the sink one night.....the tv turned itself off and then back on while discussing ghosts with my boyfriend made a believer out of him.....after my brother died there was knocking on the wall.....then my bedroom lamp would turn itself on in the evenings for months after that.......I also have had dreams of relatives having passed on, only to learn later that they did indeed die
Some organizations are not as severe, more borderline.....like some of the religious organizations. There are those who say these "Witnesses" have characteristics of a cult. To me, it is all about someone at the top wanting power and control, and with that religion, there are the elders. You don't question the teachings, you don't question anything, you don't break the rules, so to speak, or you can be ex-communicated.
I'm American and I don't agree 99.99% of Americans are "good"....I'm honest, tell it like it is.....there are plenty of bottom feeders here, just as anywhere else
I don't blame you one bit for considering calling the police. I would have thought about doing that, too.
I really enjoyed The Gods Must be Crazy, and I saw part 2 as well. I also watched The White Massai, and read the books---true story. Crocodile Dundee was another great movie as well as Dances with Wolves.
